Made with grapes picked in early October, near the town of Haro in Rioja Alta. The vines are around 15-20 years old. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at around 25-30 degrees for 12 days. Then a malolactic fermentation takes place after the wine is pressed and reracked into stainless steel tanks. After this the wine is filled into a mixture of American and French oak casks for 4-6 months.
Tasting Notes: rich, balanced and fruity, spiced plum and black cherry notes
